2019 - Spring Season House Assessments  Baseball

Season:
Spring 2019
Starts:
2019-02-28 00:00:00.0
Ends:
2019-03-16 00:00:00.0

The sole purpose of these assessments is to build fair and even teams.  We will score/rank kids in each division based on a set of pre-determined skills like FIELDING, THROWING, HITTING and RUNNING.

Novice/Tadpole

We have found that many other parks have started to assess in this division so we decided it would beneficial for us to do the same.  These will be simple stations to assess the children's basic skills and understanding of the game.  Assessments will be held on one night in two separate sessions.

Mosquito

Assessment will be held on two separate dates.  We are providing 2 separate dates in order to give people a couple choices in case you might not be able to make it one of the scheduled nights.  Assessments will cover Fielding (Infield/Outfield drills), Pitching, Hitting and Speed.

Mosquito Prospects

You must attend the regular house assessments to qualify for Mosquito Prospects consideration.  From the results of the house assessments, x amount of kids will be chosen to go to a second assessment shortly thereafter. For more info on the Mosquito Prospects team please visit the Mosquito Prospects page also found under the "Divisions" tab of our website.

Peewee

Assessment will be held on two separate dates.  We are providing 2 separate dates in order to give people a couple choices in case you might not be able to make it one of the scheduled nights.  Assessments will cover Fielding (Infield/Outfield drills), Pitching, Hitting and Speed.

Peewee Prospects

Peewee AA

There will be an individual assessment held on February 10th (LINK HERE) that you need to register for to try-out. If your son or daughter does not end up making the AA team the scores that they got at the AA assessment will transfer over and you WILL NOT have to attend the peewee house assessments as well.

Bantam

Assessment will be held on two separate dates.  We are providing 2 separate dates in order to give people a couple choices in case you might not be able to make it one of the scheduled nights.  Assessments will cover Fielding (Infield/Outfield drills), Pitching, Hitting and Speed.

Bantam AA

Like the Peewee AA assessment, there will be a individual assessment held on February 10th (LINK HERE) that you need to register for to try-out. If your son or daughter does not end up making the AA team the scores that they got at the AA assessment will transfer over and you WILL NOT have to attend the bantam house assessments as well.

Midget

Basically you register and you get on a team!  This division is hit or miss each year as it is dependant on registration so at some point we might have to cap registration.
